A cat went from lying in the bushes to having the time of her life, doing everything she couldn’t before.

On a rare Saturday off from work, AP Miller was walking home when she spotted a cat crying in the bushes. “Normally, if I were to make eye contact with a cat outside, they would run away. But this one kept crying,” AP shared with Love Meow.
The cat moved in an unusual way when AP slowly approached her. “I knew something was wrong. I phoned a friend who told me to just call animal control, but I knew this cat needed help.”
She gently scooped up the cat and placed her in a box she had gotten from a nearby store.

She then rushed the cat to the emergency vet, where they discovered the cat was not microchipped and needed more care than anticipated.
At around 3-5 years old, the calico was emaciated, weighing only four pounds, and unable to walk. “We learned this was from a fracture on both sides of her pelvis. She had a cut on her nose that was filled with dirt.”
