They gave a cat a safe haven to raise her litter and watched her thrive into the happy, fluffy companion she was meant to be.

An orange tabby cat arrived at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue with her litter of four, hoping for a chance at a better life.
At the time, she was only about one year old and still a kitten at heart, but she was already devoted to caring for four demanding kittens. “She was not dealt the best hand at the start of her life,” Sarah Kelly, founder of the rescue, shared.
Britt, a foster volunteer, welcomed the family of five into her home and set up a comfortable space for the sweet Mama, Lin.

“Lin loves to be pet. She is a little shy at first but will start purring at the first head rub,” Britt shared. “She doesn’t even stop nursing to eat. She’s a real MVP.”
For the first week, Lin rarely left her kittens, tending to their every whim. She had breakfast, lunch, and dinner in bed and didn’t want to let her little ones out of sight. Fortunately, this would be her last litter.
