A kitten grabbed onto a person’s shoe until he was finally in a home. Now, he’s helping another cat in need.

Earlier this year, Alley Cat Rescue (in the L.A. location) took in a tiny tuxedo kitten who was just skin and bones, covered in filth.
The kitten, Peanut, was so hungry that he wolfed down a plate of food. He approached his finders and wrapped his paws around their shoe, crying for help. “He was dropped off on our doorstep at just around 2.5 months old,” Alley Cat Rescue shared.
They brought the kitten inside and tended to him immediately, all while he purred and sought their affection.

“With no microchip and in rough shape, the little one suffered from a severe upper respiratory infection, likely caused by the poor air quality from the fires. This brave soul was in need of love, care, and a fresh chance at life.”
“Despite being thin, starving, and covered in dirt, he clung to anyone offering a bit of attention.”
