A cat took matters into his own paws to get what he wanted after spending a long time outside.

An orange tabby cat named Louie was brought to Clifton Animal Shelter last month for a chance at a better life.
Louie was too docile to fend for himself, which made it difficult for him to survive outdoors. “He spent some time as a stray, wandering around on his own, but he’s way too gentle and affectionate for life on the streets,” Clifton Animal Shelter shared.
Shortly after arriving at the shelter, he seemed relieved, allowing volunteers to pet him and accepting care from the veterinary team.

“This incredibly handsome boy is about a year old and as sweet as they come. He deserves a safe, loving home where he can truly thrive.”
After receiving some much-needed affection and a hearty meal, Louie settled comfortably into his kennel. He nestled against his little green pillow, eagerly awaiting the next visit from his human friends.
