A man went out to exercise and noticed a cat in a tree at his usual spot. He ended up changing the cat’s life.

A man arrived at a local park to do some morning exercise when he noticed something unusual under a nearby tree.
“I do Tai Chi every morning right there, and I saw this pink cat carrier (sitting on the ground),” he shared in a video with Greenpoint Cats, an all-volunteer cat rescue. To his surprise, there was a cat perched on a large branch of the tree.
It appeared the cat had escaped her carrier and climbed the tree to seek refuge.

The finder dragged a nearby picnic table under the tree and climbed up to get closer to the cat. He reached out just enough to pet the tabby and realized she was friendly but unwilling to budge.
The cat clung to the branch, steadying herself against the trunk.
