They took in kittens needing help and watched the young cats bond in ways that charmed everyone.

Two kittens, Polly and Charlie, were brought to Best Friends Animal Society (in LA) for a chance at a better life.
When Frankie, a volunteer, heard the kittens needed a foster home, she immediately stepped up to take them in. “When I picked them up, they were incredibly frail, and both had URIs. At five weeks old, they weighed what a two-week-old bottle baby should weigh,” Frankie shared with Love Meow.
“They were also covered in the most amount of flea dirt I have ever seen and were very scared.”
Frankie
The gray kitten, Charlie, was particularly skittish and wouldn’t let anyone pick him up. “He would hiss and moan and didn’t trust me. The silver lining is that they had a great appetite and good energy.”
Frankie set up a comfortable playpen for the pair, with a large bed, plenty of snuggly toys, and ample nourishing food.
