Earlier this month, a young cat wandered alone into a stray colony, searching for food.
She had come to the right place for help. A local animal rescuer who assists community cats spotted her and noticed her round belly. They sprang into action, securing the cat and bringing her to Chatons Orphelins Montreal.
The cat was heavily pregnant and had nowhere to go, but that was about to change.

“We took her into our care and named her Minah. She was about one year old, and despite her advanced pregnancy, she was very skinny,” Celine with Chatons Orphelins Montreal shared with Love Meow.
“Even though she was unfamiliar with her new surroundings, she was friendly with everyone she met.”
